Location & Contact:
Sojourn Vintage operates online and through our Instagram shop @sojournvintage. We are based in Mount Washington, Los Angeles (zip code 90065), where item pickups and in-person viewings are available by appointment.
Pickup, local delivery, and long-distance shipping are all available — costs are paid by the customer. For any questions before or after purchase, please email us at hello@sojournvintage.com.
Purchases:
At checkout, customers select one of the following methods: PICK-UP, LOCAL DELIVERY, UPS SHIPPING, or LONG DISTANCE DELIVERY.
Please review the relevant section below for the method that fits you.
Holds:
We do not hold items. All items remain available to other customers until purchased. Items are officially yours once payment is received.
If you would like a shipping or delivery quote before purchasing, email us at hello@sojournvintage.com. We do not hold items during quote requests — to secure a piece, complete your purchase first, then coordinate delivery.
Returns:
All sales are FINAL and all merchandise is sold AS-IS. We do not offer returns, refunds, holds, or exchanges.
Vintage pieces show signs of age and use — that is part of their value. Each piece has lived a life before reaching you, and we describe condition honestly in every listing. We are always happy to send additional photos, detailed videos, measurements, or any other information you'd like before you complete your purchase. Please ask. We would rather answer five questions and have you confident in your purchase than have you uncertain.
Local Pickup:
All items are available for pickup in Mount Washington, Los Angeles (90065) by appointment. Once your purchase is confirmed, we will email you within three business days to coordinate a pickup date and time.
Please bring blankets, packing materials, and any help you'll need — we do not provide assistance with wrapping, loading, or unloading. Items must be picked up within 14 days of purchase. If you need additional time, email hello@sojournvintage.com to arrange storage (extended holds may incur a storage fee). Items not picked up after 30 days are considered abandoned and will be returned to inventory.
UPS Shipping (smaller items):
UPS shipping is available for smalls, decor, ceramics, and other compact pieces. Customers pay all shipping and handling costs. We will contact you within three business days of purchase to coordinate shipping and provide a final cost, which is paid before items ship.
Local Delivery (within 100 miles of Los Angeles):
We don't operate our own delivery service, but we are happy to connect you with trusted third-party delivery companies who serve the greater Los Angeles area. After purchase, we'll email within three business days with delivery recommendations and contact information so you can coordinate directly.
Delivery companies are independent of Sojourn Vintage — quotes, scheduling, payment, and any issues are handled directly with them.
Long-Distance Delivery & Oversized Item Shipping:
If you live outside Southern California, we strongly recommend U-Ship, a marketplace that connects you with vetted independent shippers for furniture and large-item transport across the country. U-Ship is reliable, transparent, and significantly more affordable than traditional freight. Our customers have used it successfully for cross-country moves.
To get a U-Ship quote: visit uship.com, enter the item dimensions (we'll provide these), enter your destination zip, and you'll receive bids from shippers within days. Choose the bid that suits your budget and timeline.
Alternatively, we can recommend other freight and long-distance delivery companies — just email hello@sojournvintage.com after purchasing and we'll connect you.
Items shipped via third-party carriers travel at your own risk. We are not responsible for delays, missing packages, or damage in transit. Any claims should be filed directly with the carrier.
International Shipping:
We do not ship oversized furniture overseas. For smalls and decor, international shipping may be possible — please email hello@sojournvintage.com before purchase to discuss.
Image Rights & Usage:
All photography is produced in-house. Sojourn Vintage retains exclusive rights to all imagery, still and moving. SV images may not be used for resale, marketing, publication, or any commercial purpose without written permission. For usage inquiries, email hello@sojournvintage.com.
