This is one of our last remaining 200 year old Nigerian Nupe Table
We have waited over a year to acquire these exceptional, rare pieces of history and they are finally among us. We've said it before and we'll say it again, the Antique Nigerian Nupe Tables are undoubtedly some of the most exceptional pieces of furniture that we have had the honor of sourcing over the years.
These stunning pieces were hand-carved from a single piece of wood in the early 1800s by the Nupe tribe of northern Nigeria. The true definition of timelessness. Originally created to be used as beds, these incredibly rare relics are now used as functional tables in homes, preserved as historical artifacts in galleries and exhibitions, or elegantly displayed as antique, artisanal works of art.

Due to the handmade and organic shape of the Nupe Table, the measurements are based on the longest, widest, and tallest point of the table. A detailed video of the item is available upon request. Wear is consistent with age and use.

Please review these terms before completing your purchase.
You will choose how you would like to receive your piece at checkout. After every purchase we will email you within two business days to begin coordinating. Timelines for pickup, delivery, and shipping vary by piece and by destination, and we will confirm those with you directly.
Pickup: Available by appointment in Mount Washington, Los Angeles 90065. After your order is placed, we will email the exact address and coordinate a time.
Furniture: Arrange your own mover, or we will send recommendations for trusted third-party delivery companies serving Los Angeles. For destinations outside Southern California, many of our customers have used U-Ship. Delivery companies are third-party and independent of Sojourn Vintage. Quotes, scheduling, liability, and payment are handled directly with them. Delivery costs are not included in your Sojourn Vintage order total.
Smalls and decor: We coordinate packing and shipping. We will contact you with the final cost, which is paid before your piece ships and is not included in your Sojourn Vintage order total. Local customers can choose pickup for smalls and decor.
